Privacy Policy
Wobble (the “app”) has no server of its own and no user accounts. The data the app creates lives on your iPhone. It does use the third-party services listed below for purchases and ad attribution.
What the app reads on your device
- Step count (HealthKit): the app reads your step count from the Apple Health app to work out your pet’s body stage. Access is read-only; the app never writes health data. Your step count is not sent off the device.
- App data: pet state, daily goal, costumes and collection progress are stored in the app group container on your device and shared with the widgets.
What the app does not collect
Accounts, email addresses, names, location, contacts, advertising identifiers or usage analytics. There is no advertising SDK in the app, and no behavioural analytics SDK either.
Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. The developer never sees your payment details.
To keep track of purchase state - what you bought and whether a subscription is active - the app uses the third-party service RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States). RevenueCat receives:
- an anonymous user ID generated by the app
- App Store transaction and receipt information
- device model and OS version
Step counts and health data are never sent to RevenueCat. See the RevenueCat privacy policy for how they handle it.
Ad attribution
From app version 1.0.1, the app may pass an attribution token from Apple’s AdServices framework to RevenueCat, to see whether an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign. The token cannot identify you, it is not subject to App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and it is used only for campaign-level totals.
Notifications
The evening reminder and the weekly report are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. You can also wipe only the in-app data with “Reset data” in Settings. Purchases stay attached to your Apple Account, so reinstalling and tapping Restore Purchases brings them back.
Children
The app has no age restriction and collects no information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date on this page is updated.
